Invivo Air has created a one-of-a-kind wine experience to take place in the sky for 2023. If you enjoy a glass of wine when you fly then this winery flight is definitely one to have on your radar.

Invivo is famous for producing award-winning Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé and Pinot Noir from New Zealand as well as its collaborations with Graham Norton and Sarah Jessica Parker. The airline offers guests a selection of Pinot Noir to taste during the flight, as they savour the lush winery surroundings. Its inaugural flight set off on the 31st of January from Auckland to Queenstown.

It’s easy to see why Queenstown has been selected. It has become popular with all kinds of travellers, attracting thousands of visitors annually. With 75 wineries only 20 minutes from Queenstown, and over a hundred more within 40 minutes, it is the heart of the southernmost wine region.

Two hours after take-off, Invivo Air makes its descent into one of the world’s most scenic airports. With jaw-dropping views of the crystal-clear Lake Wakatipu and dramatic alpine ranges, it’s the perfect introduction to what the South Island has to offer.

During the flight, passengers can enjoy an eight-step wine-tasting session led by Invivo co-founders Tim Lightbourne and Rob Cameron.

Rob Cameron, Co-Founder, Invivo Air, said:

“We’re thrilled to open Invivo Air and deliver a truly unique experience for those that come on board. We’ll be tasting some stunning drops in some epic locations. So, wine not fly with us and experience business class in every glass!”

A ticket for this experience will cost approximately £600 per person. Along with the flight and tasting, the ticket also includes a visit to Botswana Butchery, supper matched with Invivo wines in Queenstown, and an overnight stay at the Hilton Queenstown Resort & Spa.

The flight sold out within days, but the good news is Invivo is not stopping there and plans to run future flights. Interested customers can register their interest and sign up for updates at Invivoair.com.
